I wasn’t feeling well last night so my hubby made these burgers with pointers from me 🙂
These extra moist and lean hamburgers are easily whipped up in no time! My favorite burger!
1 egg yolk
1/3 cup salsa
1 1/4 pounds of lean ground turkey
Blend egg, egg yolk, salsa with a fork in a small bowl. Place turkey in a medium size bowl, pour egg and salsa mixture over turkey, mix with hands until well combined(turkey mixture will be very wet, this is crucial to having moist, lean burgers). Shape into 5 patties and pan-fry in a medium hot skillet sprayed with olive oil until internal temperature reaches 165 Fahrenheit.
1 avocado mashed
2 T. Ranch dressing
salt to taste
Combine mashed avocado with ranch dressing, season to taste with salt. Chill until serving.
Serve on toasted onion hamburger buns, with Ranch Guac, sliced tomato, lettuce and choice of salsa of barbecue sauce. I often serve these with Crispy No-Fry Fries from the cookbook The Sneaky Chef(that’s where my extra egg white runs off to).
